Event Details
Squash the competition as you flex your engineering brain and have a gourd time at our annual pumpkin catapulting contest! Work solo or as a team to create a mini pumpkin catapult. You’ll have 90 minutes to design and build your catapult using the supplies and tools we provide. If you get stumped or need some inspiration, we’ll have a few design ideas to help you get started. Once everyone is done building, we’ll hold a contest to see which team can launch their gourd the farthest! There will be a small prize for the top 2 teams.
Only one registration is needed per team or individual.
Whether you're working solo or with up to 4 friends (max of 5 per team), just sign up once for your whole group.

Attendees who arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notification will forfeit their spot.
Children under the age of 13 must have a parent or guardian attend the class with them.
Photography Notice
Photography and/or filming may take place at Library events. By attending Library events, you consent to the Library photographing and using your likeness to be used on Library websites, marketing materials, and social media pages.
